Welcome to Heroes for Hire
As a consequence of Onslaught and Heroes Reborn, the Marvel Universe suffered a power vacuum after the Fantastic Four and Avengers were presumed killed. Following up on the status of the Oracle Corporation that Namor had established, Jim Hammond (the Golden Age Human Torch) and Danny Rand (Iron Fist) set up a new Heroes for Hire organization.
Iron Fist recruited Luke Cage to the core team, followed by an assortment of hangers-on: Black Knight (Dane Whitman), White Tiger, Hercules, She-Hulk, and even Deadpool were included. Much of the team rotates in a Defenders-like manner, hired for missions as necessary.
Mentioned during one of their missions, Adam Warlock is here to support the Heroes for Hire team in the field using his Battle Mage ability.
Bring allies into the field with Call for Aid, Make the Call, and Squared Off. Bring minions into play to reduce the cost of Hercules by using Come Get Me, Bub!, Looking for Trouble, Spoiling for a Fight, and Squared Off.
Confuse the villain and/or minions with Battlefield Benevolence and Think Fast! Foiled! and Defiance deflect boost icons/cards.
