It is my opinion that Adam is secretly the best target for Symbiote Suit in the entire game. Adam can use the extra hit points to great advantage for soaking hits and charging the Bloodgem. The extra card from the Suit combined with the one from Sorcerer Supreme gives him a silly hand size of 7. That 7 hand size _will _mean that Adam decks out faster, but wait, Adam is the one character in the game that really wants to deck out. His meager 1-1-2 statline badly needs a boost, and nothing else in his kit provides that. Lastly, the impact from the Hazard icon is reduced by Adam's 2 Cosmic Ward's that cancel treacheries. He gets all of the upsides, with a drastically minimized downside.

Your first deck pass can sometimes be a bit difficult to survive, focus on set up as much as possible with Soul World being your main target, the other cards you'll look for are Symbiote Suit, R4AF, and Defensive Conditioning. Use cards like Pip, Cosmic Ward, and Patriot to boost your survivability.

Adam's Mystic Senses and Cape are a bit of a trap as trying to get his ability online will drastically slow down your setup time.

Once you fully set up you'll have 25+ XP and a 7 card hand size. At this point you should be easily able to defend the table. Face tank any hits that come your way. Exhaust to defend for a friend and use Patriot and Pip to protect someone else.

Note that all of the allies in this deck are expensive, only Pip and Patriot are actually worth paying for, the rest are meant to be brought into play with Call for Backup and Summoning Spell.

I didn't include a copy of Endurance in this deck, but if you feel you need a few extra HP it could be a good inclusion
