This deck comes from two ideas: 1) I LOVED playing with Mutant Mayhem on Star-Lord at CoH '25 2) I was reviewing Energy events for Wonder Man and noticed it's on the list.
My next though was to take this idea into Protection so I can recur Tough allies and allies like Rogue who inherently chew through your characters. I then re-learned that Rogue killed Wonder Man and stole his powers (he got better) so that locked this idea in.
Basically the whole crux of this deck is to get Children of the Atom in play asap so you can dump X team alliance cards onto the table as fast as possible. Gunboat moves the game forward, Serve and Protect gives you a ton of defensive options, and Mayhem resets everything.
With the tough as nails allies and all the ways to reset their tough status plus your self heals, Wonder Man should also be able to freely use Energy Siphon to its fullest.
