This deck is inspired by The Winning Hand’s episode on Strength in Diversity.

Deck Pitch: We’re looking to hit good numbers with Strength in Diversity and Air Supremacy while building a broad board state.

The idea for this one was to try and break out of my usual SiD decks and not just go for maximum value. This can still hit high numbers, but not the 12-13 that is more typical. The high numbers we are hitting is our ally count. With this we’re looking to get 6 allies on the field at once. Depending on the order the game goes we could get out our support allies early so they can sit around and help us build up without taking consequential.

This deck is capable of hitting seven enemies for three damage each with Air Supremacy if there are that many minions on the table. I think the only way you could get more out of it is by playing Stinger and putting her on a Sky Cycle. I think that’s a little too much effort for this. It’s gonna be tough to achieve this level of efficiency, but I don’t think you have to. But this is better in multiplayer. Maybe convince your friends to play Winter Soldier and Tigra so they can stack the field for you (plus that’s another three traits from Bucky and one from Tigra if she’s in alter-ego).

I went with Star-Lord for this mostly to help us get out allies a little easier since he can reduce the cost of them significantly. And if you’re playing this in multiplayer to increase your targets for Air Supremacy that does increase the cost of Strength in Diversity. The other players might not mind contributing to that, but Peter allows us to reduce the cost to more achievable levels.

If you are playing solo, I think you could trade Air Supremacy for Blaze of Glory to get some explosive late game turns from all your allies.

This deck is theorycraft at the time of publishing, but I plan on giving it a shot solo soon.
