I took this deck to the rise of Red Skull Expert Solo Campaign without taking a single point of damage. If I took damage I restarted the game. I was able to be red skull on the first try per the rules. I should also note that I was able to prevent energy Shield from entering the game, luckily. Because Crossbones has piercing I added desperate defense instead of mustard courage.

Campaign Cards: Emergency Teleport Thwarting Upgrade Saved 3 allies (Moon Knight, Shang-Chi, Electra).

The Story: Captain America gets a call from Nick fury that project Pegasus is under attack. Because of his many years in service captain America realizes this could be his final war. Over the years captain America has taken a lot of damage and he realizes that if he takes any damage it will be the final blow. Luckily for him with his countless hours of training with His shield and faithful allies by his side, Capt. steps up to the challenge.

The Campaign: Crossbones- The key to defeating Crossbones is to keep him stun locked but I always have an ally in front of you just in case he triggers a second attack. Big health Allies are valuable to soak the damage of his machine gun. A tough status card or his defensive stance can also do this. You want to burn Crossbones down quick to avoid the bad cards like legions of hydra or shadows of the past.

Absorbing Man: my first focus in fighting absorbing man was to get rid of his super absorption side scheme. Luckily this is easy to do with a fearless determination and a basics Thwart action from Captain America. Then keep him still unlocked. This keeps you from having to defend his environment and from him activating his ability in stage III. I think I defeated him in six rounds but I added a seventh versus red skull because I couldn’t remember.

Taskmaster: taskmaster is one I was worried about because he was going to do direct damage when you flipped up in the hero form. So that meant that I had to build a base and alter ego with a defensive stance or energy barriers before I flipped up. The first round I stayed in alter ego allowing me to get a few allies out and a defensive stance. When I flipped I got lucky and he did no damage. For pretty much the rest of the game I stayed in hero form keeping him stun locked and using my three thwart to keep the scheme down and saving Allies. I got lucky and was able to save three allies without going through the deck.

Zola: Took me two tries to beat Zola. Muster courage was key in keeping me in the fight. Because Zola has retaliate I had to use my allies to do most of the damage with their final consequential HP. Iron fist was vital and keeping Zola stunned, along with Shang Chi and Mockingbird. Captain America’s main focus was thwarting.

Red skull: honestly he was probably the easiest to beat because of the upgrades and allies. I used emergency teleport to get Nick fury and to draw me three cards at the start of the game. This enabled me to build a solid base of defense before red skull even got a turn. Keeping black widow out with the quincarrier saved me a few times from nasty cards. From there I control the threat kept weapons off of red skull and slowly whittled him down.
