WastelandSniper · 270
This is mostly a solo deck. I'm working on a multiplayer version that still revolves around Spider-UK, but switches out some cards to make it more lean more into table defense.
What do you do when some minions decide to park themselves right in front of you and then proceed to attack you? Get a Brit to tell them they can't park there. Preferably violently. This is where [Spider-UK](/card/27012) comes in. By the middle of the game you should be consistently knocking out just about every small- to medium-sized minion that hits the table in front of you when they try to attack you. Make sure to get out [Hangar Bay](/card/36035) to give him the ability to defend twice in the same turn. And get [Scarlet Spider](/card/52013) out to keep any damage you do have to put on Spider-UK to a minimum. [Web of Life and Destiny](/card/27023) is important to get out since you'll be wanting to bounce [Madame Web](/card/52021), [Spider-Man](/card/27017), and [Ghost-Spider](/card/27048) in and out of play. Plus, it helps pump your Web-Warrior trait numbers, which is important for Spider-UK's damage output. Boost your defense and help make sure [Dauntless](/card/16016) doesn't turn off by including [Defensive Conditioning](/card/56046). If you don't mind going over 40 cards, [Endurance](/card/05023) and [Armored Vest](/card/01081) can help increase your HP and DEF, further shoring up that ping damage every turn (it really adds up over time!). [Momentum Shift](/card/09016) gives you a bit more room to stay up while also dealing out damage where needed. [Spider Reflexes](/card/52012) provides strong consistency in keeping your tucked cards full since you want to be defending against the villain's attacks pretty much every turn. Once she gets [Organic Webbing](/card/52009) out, Silk can consistently use [Ever Vigilant](/card/17030) to keep threat down. And for any side schemes, [J. Jonah Jameson](/card/52007) can keep them in check, particularly when combined with Hobie's and Madame Web's thwarting.

Depending on the particulars of the scenario, [Outwit](/card/52010) and [Spider Claws](/card/52011) vary in importance. I found that Outwit usually won out over Spider Claws, but that was because in the games I played Hobie was usually hitting big boost numbers on the encounter cards when he left play, and [Swinging Silk Kick](/card/52003) shows up consistently enough to do big damage while Dauntless (or campaign award cards that give retaliate) chipped away at the villain or kept him from staying tough for too long. Even though Silk is not a strong thwarter out of the box, that 2 THW after she gets Organic Webbing came in very handy, especially if you could boost it with Outwit and then ready and thwart again using Ever Vigilant.
I don't know why the formatting is messed up.
