I like playing heroes that want to buff up their attack and swing hard, but I find that aggression can be a bit awkward to get readies with. Some of those heroes can also be a bit awkward to thwart with, such as She-Hulk or Drax, so you need some help in that department.

That's when I thought of Maria Hill in a support capacity, to assist with thwarting and placing out some nice upgrades, to allow another hero to do some damage.

This iteration of the deck was designed to go with this X-23 deck: https://marvelcdb.com/deck/view/1095742?deck_name=When%20in%20doubt%2C%20slash%2C%20slash%20again. so you can replace Attack Training with something more appropriate for another hero. This X-23 team-up allowed X-23 to play on Protection using cards like Repurpose and What Doesn't Kill Me to ensure some readies (and some healing), allowing for some really explosive turns. Add in some Command Teams to help Honey Badger and you can dish out some really nice damage.

I've tested these two together against Expert Thanos and after a rocky start, once set-up, they truly are a powerhouse team.

Are Aggressive Conditioning and Combat Training are there to give to your teammate? I usually save exhausting Maria for defense or the occasional thwart. Those upgrades would rock on a Protection X-23.
