Nova PvP - Victory through Threat Gen

Whether playing Resistance or Registration, you can earn player events that add small amounts of thwart to your opponent's main scheme. (By completing the Choosing Sides side scheme.)

So why not spam these threat-generators every turn with Ms. Marvel until your schemes are fully complete?

Ms. Marvel allows you to return an event you just played to your hand. However, this will exhaust her and cause her to take damage.

Registration is more focused on damage than threat, but with enough damage we should get the enemy heroes to switch to alter-ego.

Our first main scheme allows us to deal extra minions during the first villain phase, including elite minions. I suggest Maria Hill, but Paladin is also a good choice.

Our stage 2 main scheme deals an extra side scheme as an encounter card. I recommend the side scheme from Cape Killer, since it has the crisis icon AND can potentially re-summon Maria Hill.

Iron man starts with one tech upgrade in play. I recommend the gauntlets for the +1 attack.

Resistance should get to main scheme phase 2 very quick. Spider Woman has a ton of treacheries, which synergizes with our stage 1 main scheme. (13/28 cards in the deck are treacheries.)

We bring out additional side schemes when we reveal our stage 2 main scheme, which helps seal the deal. I recommend the side scheme from Cloak and Dagger, since it has a crisis icon.
