What's better than #Gunboat Diplomacy [Gunboat Diplomacy](/card/48032)? Gunboat Leadership!
We have lots of allies (5 once [The Triskelion](/card/01073) and [Knowhere](/card/22021) are out), 4 of which are x-force and x-men. While mutants are great at diplomacizing things with brute violence, you add some [Comms Implants](/card/18030) and their brute force tactics are taken to the TEAM level!
However rules are rules, and some [Guardian badges](/card/22035) have to be handed out first. But if the crew can be recognized as a [TEAM](/card/22033) early, up to 6 cards can be drawn as the TEAM is equipped.
The allies are divided - I mean TEAMed - into 2 squads of 2, three if you group the Guardian OGs ([Nebula](/card/18002), and [Gamora](/card/18001a)) into their own squad - I mean TEAM. We'll just nepotize [Hope Summers](/card/40204) onto one of the TEAMs - no badge needed for her. This leaves us with 2 extra mutants to help the TEAMs get off the ground faster, and later to use as resources or to tag in if needed. [Deathlok](/card/40025) can help set an example by being [Inspired](/card/21057) early, while [Beast](/card/33011) can show off his energy. [Gambit](/card/48021) might pull a high boost icon encounter and lead his TEAM in thwarting ability.
That's 2 full [gunboats of leadership](/card/48032)!
Setting the ultimate example is the OG of OGs, the TEAMed TEAM lead herself, Gamora - turning her basic abilities into TEAM leadership events and leading by example - [Push-ing Ahead](/card/29018) and [Go-ing All Out](/card/29017).
Eep - my card links! Yes, I'm a noob - but how can I fix this situation? I used the editor for all my markdown (?) needs..
