This build is designed to exploit three different cards

-Surveillance Team lets us clear Shopping Spree, since it's a support it's easy to clear shopping spree every round. it also helps us stay in control of threat of course!

-Chance Encounter attaches to Shopping Spree, allowing us to find Monica Chang damn near whenever we want! Monica keeps the Surveillance teams running, pumping them into the board for free and refueling tokens on our supports. Feel free to chump block with her, Chance Encounter means we can recur her for more tokens and more blocks.

-Homeland intervention should be effective 0 cost removal with Surveillance Teams in play!

This deck is in testing and is designed around the consistency of having Shopping Spree recurring when we visit alter ego. We'll use Mutant Education to cycle Flash of Light/Firecrackers/Shopping Sprees. FoL + Cypher (Cypher recurabble via Chance encounter) + Moira = big ol' hands of cards!

This deck runs low on Physical resources, which means we need Power of Justice / x-jet / x-gene in play as soon as possible so we can use the wilds as physical. We will exhaust jubilee for a wild whenever we need as well.

I've designed this for solo play + 2 man teams. Stunlock control builds are less effective in 3+ player sessions. This deck is an absolute blast to play though and even manages to control the villain when they have Steady. So far i've been using shopping spree to fish for Jubilee's glasses BEFORE her coat, as the bonus damage from events has been more helpful than the bonus thwart from the coat but of course your mileage may vary.

Nov 02, 2025 SoloMarvelChampion · 6692 You can increase your SHIELD count a bit more with Agent Coulson (finding Counterintelligence) and Quake for dealing damage to scheming minions. This helps Homeland Intervention hit its max potential a little more often.

So far Sonic Rifle and Sense of Justice are on the chopping block, with Quake being the likely replacement for one of those cards. She's flipping down a lot to Alter to use Moira and Mutant Education, so sonic rifle is a little more valuable at this stage as it can stack confuses with her events when dealing with Steady villains. Early version of the deck, but good god she's so fun to play! Jessica Jones may also get dropped.
