Just going to say right away, this isn't meant to be the best deck, this is designed to get effective use out of some limited use cards.

I was playing Drax and Leading Blow is a fun card in his deck. But never been worth the risk in any other deck. I was playing Jubilee pre-con in solo and Synch is just not a good fit with a hero who often wants to exhaust without a basic activation and Cell Phone is even worse in solo. But playing these decks back to back, I realized that these three cards solve each other's problems. (Okay Synch has no problems, he is just a solid card.) Leading Blow is good and fun for anyone that can consistently basic attack for 4 or more in Protection. Cell Phone is solid but low payoff in solo. Synch is solid for anyone doing lots of basic activations but +1 per turn is reliable low upside.

So, to make it work, I need an X-Man with at least 2 ATK who does not want to waste turns defending. Enter Bishop. Once he has his uniform on, he intends to take hits on the chin and keep going.

Playing the deck. This is a Bishop deck so Bishop's Uniform is your first priority and Bishop's Rifle is your second. And getting your first Cell Phone and Synch out are key so that when you draw Leading Blow you can attack for 4 and have it trigger 100% in most scenarios. The one catch with Bishop is that because he discards so much it is possible that Synch gets discarded. Specialized Training is your failsafe, use that to get +1 ATK if you miss on Synch. Otherwise, get the added health, gives Bishop more leeway against hard hitting enemies and makes it a guaranteed card draw every turn without doing anything you weren't already doing.

Utopia might be cheap, so feel free drop that and then mix it up more with allies, White Fox is great. But this is a question of whether you prefer the more effective deck or the more unique deck. On that note, I find 10+ resources is the minimum for Bishop, so this is running close to that, more resource cards is not a bad idea either.

Otherwise, the deck plays pretty straight forward. Use Bishop's Rifle and Leading Blow to deal consistent damage. Basic activations will often thwart to keep schemes under control. What Doesn't Kill Me gives you healing top-ups and more activations. Use the rest of your deck to either play an event or ally every turn, whatever your hand gives you and whatever the situation calls for. Then when it is time to push for the win, use activations for attacks and do a Super-Charged attack.

Bishop is always a good palate to try different decks, make sure 1/4 cards are resources and you can do whatever you want with the remaining 3/4. This deck can be modified plenty, but it is fun to make Cell Phone have a meaningful payoff in solo and Leading Blow have real use for someone other than Drax.

Love the inclusion of Cell Phone! It's a very versatile card, especially in multiplayer, and I've been trying to get it into more decks (but there are SO MANY good cards I haven't been able to Crowbar it in).

@Footballcoach I don't mean to denigrate Cell Phone, in Multiplayer it can be very valuable, especially as a way to get a minion slaying aggression hero to clear the board first regardless of turn order. But in solo, 3 EC for 3 impact spread out over 3 turns is hard to justify. So it needs a combo to bring value. And I think this is a good one.

I know this deck didn't get much traction, but I played it against Venom Goblin and it was honestly the most comfortable I have ever felt in a Venom Goblin fight. Normally the push on him is a turn where I do enough to win or I die in the villain phase. This deck had the schemes completely under control and had enough healing that damage was never a major concern.

One thing I underrated was that between Leading Blow, What Doesn't Kill Me and Concussive Blast, there was so many readies that Cell Phone couldn't keep up. I'd get two out and burn through them. But Super Charged worked great as a Leading Blow failsafe.
