You're my angel, come and save me tonight You're my angel, come and make it all right Come and save me tonight- Aerosmith
Ok So I have a fun build ive been trying out involving Angel. Now I really just wanted this to be a Angel deck focused on is traits with Arieal so that we went with
Allies
Cannonball: His consequential damage is reduced by the number of Aerial cards in your hand. In theory, you should always have more than two when thwarting or attacking, making him essentially free.
Siryn: Solid attack and thwart stats, and she's Aerial, so she's a perfect fit!
Starhawk: Arguably the most fun Aerial ally in the game. You can bounce him back and always play him while in Angel's Angel form to draw a card.
Warpath: Get him on the table to defend, and then use him to pay for a Hero Action event. It's a great way to get extra value on the villain's turn!
Events
Aerial Intervention: You can literally turn this into a cost of 0 and get a free card when you're in Angel form.
Ever Vigilant: You're Aerial, so why not ready up and remove 2 threat? It's a great trade-off.
Perseverance: With all your form jumping, you can easily use this to give yourself a tough status card. It combos well with Metamorphosis and Ready for a Fight.
Mutant Education: Use this to bring back fun Angel cards like Metamorphosis, Razor Dive, and Adaptive Plumage. With X-Mansion on the table, you'll also draw another card.
Resources
The 3 Staples (Power of Aggression, Power of Justice, Power of Leadership): Bring these three standard resources, along with two copies of Power of Flight. With so many Aerial cards, it all works out in the end.
Support
Moira MacTaggert: Great for get another card when we chang forms from our Alter-Ego
Quincarrier: For resource generation; we get this into play with Build Support.
X-Mansion: Heals us when we flip down, which we can do a lot.
Upgrades
X-Gene: Pays for our Angel events.
Ready for a Fight: Hands down one of the best Protection cards ever, and it synergizes perfectly with Perseverance.
Ready to Rumble: If we flip to a form, we can ready up. It combos nicely.
Practice Plan: Used to recur our Ready for a Fight cards.
Zope you enjoy the deck let me know your thoughts
This looks like a pretty fun deck! Angel was my first hero outside of the core and he still holds a special place in my heart.
I'll have to try this deck out soon! I love protection, card draw and constant movement!!! Looks great, my dude!
