HOLD ME BACK!

OK, so this is a slightly wacky deck build based on the Winning Hand's challenge to build around Superhuman Strength.

Check out Boomguy's deck as well as a list of other decks taking up the challenge here!

The main aim here is to grab Superhuman Strength when you can, but to HOLD BACK on actually attacking...other than two conditions:

  • if you can defeat the enemy, or
  • if the enemy is stunned;

How to Deal Damage without Attacking

You still need to keep the tempo of the match, so you still need to attack, right? WRONG!

Use "Do You Even Lift?" every time you flip up to deal damage. Set this up by getting Ready for a Fight and Practiced Plan on the table...it'll prevent more scheming...but will also deal that damage!

Use an ally to help you out, or

How about Stand Together ? Its a cool card that prevents all damage to you and deals the damage back at the enemy!

There is also Tackle which stuns the enemy first, safely allowing you to attack it without losing your Superhuman Strength.

I've not tested this deck but I think it'd be best used in multiplayer, as there are some deficiencies if it were to be played in solo.

It's admittedly a deck based around Stand Together and Superhuman Strength by proxy.

Great use of Stand Together here, pairs nicely with Ready for a Fight so you can reliably have enough resources in hand to make use of it if you haven't gotten the Quincarrier out yet. You also just made me realize there might be room for a Change of Fortune deck using Ready for a Fight to make her hero ability hurt minions during the villain phase. I guess I have to work on that one as well. lol. Great idea for a deck you have here.
