Pretty straightforward deck.

I listen to a lot of Champions podcasts and whenever the topic of Core Set heroes comes up, Black Panther is always cited as the hero who has developed the least over the life of the game. While I agree, I don’t feel as if he hasn’t evolved at all.

I agree that the basic flow of a BP game is the same as it was. Draw into Wakanda Forever as often as you can. There is at least one way his cards have synergies with the expanded card pool, and that is weapons.

Panther has two weapons in his kit, with one available to you during set up.. So the deck is based around getting those upgrades out and using Mean Swing and Fusillade. The beauty of his weapon upgrades is that they don’t exhaust when Wakanda Forever triggers. They don’t even need to be ready.

Wakanda Forever is obviously still an important part of the deck, but a lot of the time I find I’m using Hall of Heroes and Golden City to draw those Fusillades. They are particularly good at clearing out his nemesis minion too.
