I’ve seen a fair amount of Justice Groot decks and I just don’t understand why so few of them run "Think Fast!". It is the perfect tool to enable him to flip down and use his alter-ego ability to build up his growth counters. Every time you flip it is essentially +4 growth counters (noting you will lose one growth counter when the damage from "Think Fast!" is prevented) and 2 cards once Fertile Ground is in play.
In solo play losses often come from the villain scheming or needing to flip down and not being able to stop the scheming. Confusion and a cheap on at that is huge in solo play.
Once you can easily keep the growth counters up, Groot has so much damage that the weakness of Justice don’t matter as much and he just wrecks the villain.
Booster Boots is also perfect for Groot to help him maintain growth counters to enable his damage. He doesn’t speed through his deck so the discard isn’t too bad with him.
Wraith is another card to point out that I really like. It provide damage early on before Groot has built up his grow counters and is one of the few Justice allies that provides any real damage.
I’ll also point out that not enough Rocket Raccoon decks run "Think Fast!" and it is really good on him too for solo play.
