This deck is designed to turn Hulk into an all purpose powerhouse that still packs an insane punch. The goal was solo play in mind, but no reason it can’t work in co-op. It’s got a good mix of threat removal and high damage production.

For the most recent version I went 3/3 against Unus with the Infinites and Wrecking crew encounter sets with Standard III and 3/3 against Zola with the Sinister Syndicate encounter set and Standard III.

Ideally you want Symbiote Suite or Avengers Mansion turn one to get that extra card. The 6/5 makes a huge difference for Hulk. But, it’s not necessary. By stacking attack Hulk can easily one shot pretty much any villain. I thought Unus was a great tester since he has toughness. Making it harder for Hulk to hit big. But with multiple ready hero cards in the deck along with other ways to deal with the tough cards (like gaining retaliate, precision strike, unstoppable force and thunderclap) it really isn’t an issue.

Dealing with threat has always been a massive Hulk weakness. The player side scheme helps take some heat off the main scheme, but looking for trouble puts in some real work. When built up Hulk has no problems tearing through minions. I was able to easily dispatch Wrecking Crew members before they even had a chance to activate. And even Abomination was a non-factor. You really only need to clear the main scheme a couple times and you should be fully built easily tearing through the villain’s health.

It took a bit to find the right combination of cards, but I feel pretty confident after winning 3/3. Once you get the symbiote suit it’s hard for the villain to tear through your 28 health. And the extra encounter card is worth the hit points, extra card in your hand and the added plus 1 to stats.
