This deck is in response to Boomguy's new episode of building decks around a certain card. In this case Great Responsibility which is a seldom used card. Why would we want to take MORE damage? Enter Spider-Pig erm Spider-Ham I mean.

Great Responsibility actually works pretty well for Ham in that he gains a toon counter when he takes damage so we can get some benefit out of this.

In addition to that he has Cartoon Physics in kit which can cut the amount of damage you take down to 1. So in this case, threat goes on, you take the damage but minimize it to 1 and get a toon counter, pretty nice trade off.

To further force the villain to scheme we have Invisibility Gear which turns an attack into a scheme. With this you can double dip on generating toon counters by taking an attack and using GR to take the damage instead of putting threat on. Endurance and Cartoon Physics helps keep us alive while we let ourselves get pummeled.

Ham has some in kit confuse with Swinging Web Pig but we've added Dazzler and Professor X as well. With us taking more damage the need to flip will be there and this provides some safer flips. We also have Counterintelligence to mitigate threat in AE should we not have a confuse down.

You can also let a teammate flip down to AE and absorb the threat that would go on the scheme with GR giving them "safe" flips without a status.

With Organic Webbing and Heroic Intuition, Ham becomes a thwart machine bumping up to 4 with the ability to ready from Webbing. For Justice! further adds to that and with his toon counters providing resources you can usually hit the kicker for the resource to push it up to 4.

I have only tested this deck in 2-handed but it has been able to completely handle the threat while my other deck was farming minions and flipping regularly for HoH. It's been really fun and it was cool to see Great Responsibility work.

Shoutout to Boomguy for the great idea of having the community build around certain cards and share their creations!

I love this one. Spider-Ham is such a good choice for the card, since he can benefit from using it!
