I am Groot

This deck turns Groot into an unkillable, and almost undamageable wall. Using cards like Hard to Ignore, Electrostatic Armor, and Dauntless hurt the villain by Groot defending, and many of Groot's cards make it easy to tank damage and walk away unharmed.

It is crucial to get Unflappable out early with this deck if possible, along with Symbiote Suit. These two cards will give Groot extra deck access, allowing him to set up quicker and be able to take even more for his team.

Usually, I have found it effective to only flip down to Alter-Ego once I have taken damage or am forced too by an obligation. The only exception to this is when I have ready for a Fight in play. When that card is in play, flip down to get the extra growth counters, and then flip back up to Hero when the villain would scheme against you.

When you are down, you should ALWAYS use his power to add two growth counters to his character. Using Fertile Ground will help you get increased deck access and take even less damage, allowing you to tank more for your team.

Note: Flora and Fauna is a team up with Rocket Raccoon. If there is not a Rocket Raccoon at your table, this card should be switched with Angle's Aerie.
