LACK OF SUBTLETY · 1407

This is a deck I whipped up for the Con of Heroes and played well there. Since I was picking Silk up at the con, the goal for this deck was to allow me to explore her mechanics and learn how to play her. This proved to be a good deck for doing so as you can use your SHIELD cards to help with threat while tucking cards to power up your Silk cards.

The first thing you are going to want to do is to put out one or two SHIELD cards, if you use allies, don't use them up or chump block with them you are going to need them to fuel Global Logistics and Homeland Intervention. Surveillance Team cards reduced to 1 use are great for this.

Global Logistics is Silk's friend for tucking cards, allowing her to stack the top of the encounter deck to have the specific cards she wants to tuck. This allows her to focus on specific encounter card types, lock down dangerous cards, or both. Quick Quip can free Cindy up to spend more time in alter-ego, where she still has a lot of options in her base kit (Albert Moon, J. Jonah Jameson, and Get the Scoop). It also can reduce the cost of Spider-Woman. This can also free you up to use Vigilante Training to get some of those SHIELD events and Quips back.

DO NOT pass up a chance to get J. Jonah Jameson into play. He is incredible.

There are some easy additions that could be made to this deck. Government Liaison is both a SHIELD card and helps get more of them in play, Helicarrier would do the same, and any player side scheme would benefit from having Jameson in play. Mockingbird would also be an easy fit. But I am keeping the deck at the list that I have actually tested.
