A 0 cost upgrade that draws 2 cards? A 0 cost 2 THW ally in protection?
All Repurpose decks got a solid boost with the Silk pack, but Rocket feels like one of the happiest raccoons in the galaxy right now.
The Tech
With 8 Tech cards in his kit, Rocket can keep Spider-Byte consistently at 0 cost – basically a freebie every time.
Energy Shield is our MVP here- perfect target for Tinkering, a solid backup for Repurpose, and thanks to all those energy resources, it might even save your furry butt now and then.
The Crew
The rest of the deck is classic Rocket Repurpose goodness:
Ingenuity, Moon Girl, Nick Fury – ramp up the economy.
ProfX, Black Widow – keep things under control.
Brother Voodoo – solid thwarting and a great way to dig for Repurpose or What Doesn’t Kill Me when it’s go-time.
Superpower Training – discount and tutor for half the kit (usually aiming for Particle Cannon or Cybernetic Skeleton).
We’re also packing some cheap and always-reliable allies: Daredevil, Starhawk, and Night Nurse – because really, why wouldn’t we run Night Nurse?
The Plan
- **Schemes?** Rocket’s got 'em.
- **Minions?** Lasered into scrap.
- **Leftovers?** That’s what allies are for — and they’ll gladly throw themselves in front of villain attacks so our favorite raccoon can stay on task.
Once the board is under control (allies out, weapons online, Energy Barriers humming), it’s time to stop playing with your food. Start digging for Repurpose and WDKM, and go full burst mode to finish it off.
Tested against: Ultron, Venom, Thanos, and the full RoRS and MuGen boxes – all on stock Expert.
Still standing. Still trash-talking.

May 06, 2025Love Rocket repurpose, I played a similar version the other night and ran right through Tbolts. Took out Atlas and Joystick in 1 turn. This looks good! |

Early game, it doesn’t really help with stabilizing, and by the time things are under control, I usually already have a steady stream of tech cards and I’m just digging for Repurpose and WDKM anyway.

I took the very same approach with Energy Shield. I'm still trying to decide how much I like Leo Fitz as a way to add additional consistency in card draw.
