War Machine loves Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons. He has to flip down often for those ammo counters and he gets the S.H.I.E.L.D discount in alter-ego. Grab Upgraded Chassis as soon as you can and get an automatic tough card. Mulligan hard for it or use Leo Fitz.
I built this deck to protect the table during a 3 player campaign so it's built to block a lot and heal a little. Rhodey has to flip a lot to refill ammo counters, so Ready for a Fight will flip and tank one hit with the tough status, then you can block for another player with Armored Vest, Energy Barrier and/or Forcefield Generator. Remember Jemma Simmons can help pay for the latter two. Indomitable can ready you back up to block again or punch some bad guy next turn.
When those green tech upgrades get low on counters Repurpose them to beef up your defense for your next block without them. Or whatever you want, I don't care.
Even blocking all the time, War Machine can still be a powerhouse with his events. Just keep stocked up on ammo counters with Munitions Bunker.
I just watched that movie last night! I really dig this deck. Ready for a Fight into the tough from Chassis seems solid, and I love that you get to refresh your ammo without giving up a whole round of defending. Good stuff!
