So, Maria has joined a Swingers community. No, this isn't your standard swinger group, it's a community of Web-Warrior's! Let's meet the leader of the group!

Spider-Man 2099 has a very unique ability, whenever he has a basic activation, you can return another Web-Warrior to your hand. Why is this good? Because so many of these Swingers in our deck have great activations when they either enter the board, or leave it! Want to find out more?

Let's see who's keys Maria pulls out of the fish bowl first.

It looks like Ghost Spider may be my first and best choice for either early game to fetch Reinforcements, or to fetch The Hard Call in the late game (or if things are getting out of hand).
You can't forgot about Hobie Brown though, him leaving can sometimes do more damage than his attacks. Or even the OG Spider-Man who can give Spider-Man 2099 an extra activation each turn, imagine the shenanigans that can be had! Don't forget about what happens everytime a Swinger (Web-Warrior) leaves play thanks to Web of Life and Destiny.

But how do we get the Swingers Out?

That's a damn good question! Half the allies require you to have one in play already, Web of Life and Destiny cost three, and Across the Spider-Verse also needs you to exhaust a Swinger as well. Here's how I plan on doing it. First turn of the game, focus on searching for The Circe and getting it into play. The next thing you need to focus on is setting up your board state as much as you can. If you have to stay in Alter Ego for another turn, weigh that decision based on if playing solo or who the villian is. We are also running three copies of Make the Call. With Make the Call, you get around the conditions that require you to control a swinger out in play in order to play allies, as this isn't playing them, just putting them into play. Another key card to focus on is Field Agent . Field Agent is what is going to keep out the engine that is Spider-Man 2099 going. There is also going to be Command team, which will assist in giving 2099 another activation each turn too!

Sometimes though our allies will die, whether it's from blocking or from consequential damage, and that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

That's where Rapid Response and Practiced Plan will come in! Especially if it's a Swinger Ally that will have a cool effect from either entering or leaving as well as WoLaD! SO much value! Even if you can't play Rapid Response again when it gets back to your hand, you can either spend for a resource or hold onto it.

A well supported deck.

When Maria is in hero form, all of her allies will be Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., making worrying about encounter cards a little less of a concern. Field Agent will keep 2099 activating for free, which is a very important part of this deck. There is also The Triskelion, which really is there to thin your deck and to also keep being an easy target (along with Field Agent) of the card Reinforcements. The Web of Life and Destiny we already mentioned earlier, as well as Sky Destroyer, which leaves the big guns, the Helicarriers! Each of The Circe, The Bellerophon, and The Pericles play vital roles. Not only are they able to either attack a large number of enemies, provide status to heros or enemies, or even bring out allies for free, but they make fantastic fodder for The Hard Call mentioned earlier. Nothing is more satisfying than ending a game by this method, it's so thematic!

Alternatively

Sky Destroyer can easily be added to this deck since there's always a S.H.I.E.L.D. card being played. Hell, even Agent 13 can help us. When the Circe is on the field along with 2099 and another Swinger, use 2099's basic ability to return the other swinger. This will activate the WoLaD, drawing you a card as well. A13 does a basic attack, readying the Circe if it's not already, and you put the Swinger back into play! Victoria Hand can also be an asset readying another Shield Support upon entering the field as well! Even Maria's friend Dum Dum can take full advantage of all these S.H.I.E.L.D. cards that are in play in the late game. Even the new Swinger Madame Web can be of use by helping us set up the encounter deck. There's plenty of other options for this deck, but these are just to make a few.

Fun deck. I've been brainstorming Miguel decks as well. With so many allies coming into play, I do really love Sky Destroyer

@Castlefrank47 thanks! As soon as I saw this card, I knew he needed to go into a deck with Field Agent somehow. Maria is great for this, but there are others too.
