Despite a few nice decks here and there (look at the links below) , I always struggled to play Thor satisfyingly. Playing him solo has mostly been a frustrating experience, especially since I want him to work with the aggro aspect (yes, I can be stubborn).

I tried something inspired by these two decks:

(we were swingin' : https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/2250/thor-we-were-swingin-1.0 AND Thor, herald of Galactus: https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/4550/thor-herald-of-galactus-thor-aggression-1.0),

My other inspiration was my obsession with pairing heroes with specific resources. Ever since Hulk, I've been kind of obsessed with the fact that heroes seem built to make the most out of a certain type of resources, although it's sometimes not so obvious (of course, Captain Marvel with ... but I've also had nice results pairing Spider-Man or She-Hulk with ).

I decided to make a Thor deck based on . While that's not exactly new, I've also decided against including some "obvious" auto-includes, such as Mean Swing, Jarnbjorn, Hall of Heroes, just because they're not the right resource. Just .

To my surprise, I got the best of expert Rhino on first try and with ease. Here's what the deck is all about:

Having Asgard and God of Thunder into play also help a lot.

That's all there is to it. It's not anything new or groundbreaking, but it is fun to finally say an aggro Thor deck got the job done.

Meant for the two decks to be included in the "derived from" section - sorry, I obviously suck at this!
