Pretty obvious that I'm a bit of a nerd and I wanted to try something with this D&D meme deck that actually had a purpose and would perform reasonably well.
I really like playing Magik despite needing to be good at mental gymnastics with all she's got going on, and I actually rate her over Dr Strange for that reason. For me she's just more fun to play to try to get the most out of her every round...it's a fun challenge.
Obviously wanted the 20 wild resource on cards to make the most of building out her kit of the Soul Sword, Crown and Armour so that she gets all the abilities of those items if there's a Wild resource on top. Which also ties into the name of this deck!
And eventually pairing that with the Symbiote Suit to give her another +1 to all stats and your Go All Out events are going to hit for 11 damage with a Wild on top.
Plus with the addition of the new Cyclops ally that you can use to get an extra 1 or even 2 points of damage a turn from recycling him in the same turn lay some serious smack down.
For a 50 card deck my only regret is not being able to squeeze a few more X-Men allies in, especially when you'll be making your sidekick Legion and he will probably never leave the board.

Instead, they are set aside at the start of the game if any player’s deck includes the card that brings the linked cards into play (indicated in the parentheses following the keyword). Linked cards do not count toward the minimum or maximum deck size. |
Nov 19, 2024what the man says is true, you would thwart all the threat off of specialized training and every player gets to choose one of the 1/4 set aside trainings and put it directly into play. if by whatever means a villain or treachery card would discard it. it would go into your discard pile to get played again that way though. |

You can most definitely scqueeze in an extra ally - you don't need to (you actually can't) include Front Line Specialist in your deck.
