This deck relies on some set-up in Alter-Ego, but once you've got your TECH up and running, you're an absolute powerhouse.

Protection may lean in to a more defensive play style, but this deck is all about buffing your ATK and hitting the enemy over and over. You don't really want to Defend, but even if you do you have multiple readies. You'll have high HP due to your Tech, as well as Forcefield Generator and Energy Barrier to help absorb damage, so taking a hit or two is generally fine.

So Tony, what's the play?

Don't worry about attacking in the early stages. Instead, stay in Alter-Ego and concentrate on building. Mulligan hard for Ingenuity, Pepper Potts and Stark Tower. These will allow you to build your TECH more quickly. Once they're on the board prioritise Arc Reactor for the Ready and Mark V Armor for the extra HP.

Threat can be a problem whilst doing this so don't be afraid to flip to Hero and Thwart, it's better than losing the game. If you do need to flip with a low TECH count, try to have Two Against The World in your hand; it's a Ready and an Upgrade of your choice. Ever Vigilant is also great in those situations where you need quick Threat removal.

When you have 4/5 TECH Upgrades in play you can stay in Hero, take a hit or two without needing to Defend, then start blowing up the Villain.

Ready. Set. Go! - The idea is to have multiple ways to ready during your turn. Between Ever Vigilant, Leading Blow, Two Against the World, Tenacity and Arc Reactor you have 10 ways to Ready yourself for additional activations.

Punching with a (Re) Purpose - Repurpose lets you discard costly Upgrades such as Forcefield Generator to boost your ATK, which lasts the entire Round. Coupled with the multiple readies your basic ATK can deal serious damage. Repurpose also stacks with itself and Cell Phone, so playing more than one in a turn really beefs your ATK. It also negates the downside of Leading Blow pretty well.

Electrifying Power - In total there are 28 Resources in the deck, so each Repulsor Blast should deal 7-11 damage quite consistently. This pairs really well with White Fox and Digging Deep, allowing you to get an Ally down for free whilst also giving you additional Resources.

Ingenious Armour - Ingenuity is a key component of your set-up. It gives you easy access to the Aerial Trait through Rocket Boots, which in turn doubles the effectiveness of Supersonic Punch, Mark V Helmet and Power Gauntlets, letting you do even more damage and deal with Threat more efficiently.
