Let's go on a stakeout!
This deck is designed for a 4-player X-Men team.
Colossus has called up Monica Chang to help keep the city safe while he jumps into battle.
The general game plan here is to fill the board with allies, supports, and upgrades to thin out Colossus' deck. Colossus then uses his tough status cards to fuel his very powerful hero events.
Although Colossus is playing Justice in this team, he's expecting the rest of the team to assist with managing threat so he can get in a few solid hits himself.
Updates
- +2 Skilled Investigator (play on teammates)
- +1 Fastball Special (playing with Wolverine)
- -1 Sense of Justice (not enough targets)
- -1 Command Center (not consistent enough)
S.H.I.E.L.D. package
Monica Chang and her Surveillance Teams will help keep threat under control while simultaneously thinning Colossus' deck.
Economy
Avengers Mansion, Helicarrier, Moira MacTaggert, Iron Will, Sense of Justice, and double resources are here to keep up with the deck's high curve.
Allies
An assortment of powerful, efficient allies help Colossus keep up with threat and continue to thin out his deck.
Credits
This deck is inspired by KennedyHawk's "Thwartless Justice" deck.
Additional notes
One problem I've encountered in 4-player games is that nobody in my pod gets excited by thwarting. We generally prefer to build cool engines, do massive damage, or both. This deck is an attempt at a hybrid deck that can do a lot of thwarting, but also dish out some major damage.
This deck is specifically created for a team that includes Wolverine and Shadowcat. If not playing with those heroes, consider taking out the Team-Up cards.
