Standard 3 - Red Phoenix - Skirmish mode

Hi all, hope you're allright!

As a fan of Jean and stuggling to play her, I tried Aggro and found it is very, very stable and quite quick to defeat ennemies in solo skirmish mode.

For those who don't know what is "skimirsh" mode is, it is a mode with the villain has only 1 stage, often first or second but it's also playble in stade 3.

So what are the strengh and weakness of this deck?

• Consistent damage with 4 cards that deal damages + Telekinesis + Psimitar + Marrow + Nick Fury

• Excellent burst when unleashed

• Minions control

• Quite good threat managment with 3 Thwart + Telepathy

• Lots of ressource so can play mutiples cards by turn

• Danger of one of the most violent Nemesis

• Not much health

• Not much damage from Jean except when unleashed

• No counter to Shadow of the past or obligation without Stepford cuckoos

So what are the addition of aggresiveness cards?

• Psi-bow Attack : 4 damage for 2, counters retaliate and triggers psimitar. Often played for 1 card (Power of the Mind OR Power of Aggression)

• Psychic Assault : 3 damage for 2 BUT confuse the villain that allows to heal during your turn

• The ressources are here to allow you to boost your damage or to play your offensive events for just one card. Even Telekinetic attack can cost 1 double ressource + a token from Phoenix force

Other choices :

• Psimitar: this is really, really strong as you have tons of cards to trigger it. You can use hurt the villain or minions with guard.

• X-jet & X-gene are here to allow ya to play more

• Telepathy helps to deal with threats (some villains or minions adds threats even when you're in hero form) and telekinesis can finish or hurt pesty minions

• Build Support is here because in one thwart you can set Stepford cuckoos that prevent most dangerous threacheries

Allies choices :

• Angel is cheap and attacks for 2, that is 6 damage OR 4 damage and 1 block
• Marrow is cheap, hurts for 2 and deals 4 damage or 2 damage and 1 block
• Nick Fury is well, Nick Fury, never wasted and always useful
• Professor X is nice to have a block, removes 3 threats and have versatility
