This deck was recently featured on Issue 217 of Critical Encounters for their recurring Secret Dossier segment.
Ok, we tasked ourselves with building 5 different decks for Iron Man, our least favorite hero (perhaps I'm speaking in the "royal we" here...). These early heroes sometimes feel left behind, and there's so many new cards that we wanted to examine what kinds of builds these forgotten cheaty do-gooders could come up with these days. I had Leadership.
So, what makes Iron Man Iron Man? Sloth, greed, and seeing how much of his work he can get done by having other people do it. So, nowadays, Iron Stark loves this aspect! I mean, first, it's the aspect of minions (sorry, allies) and of putting things on them to make them stronger and stick around longer. That mean, even more time for Tony do literally do nothing. Oh, but while he's empowering his buddies to do his endless chores, he's actually just being selfish and helping himself. While they're out fighting the "good" fight, he's at home basking in the glow of the tech he's put on them. That's right, all these attachments that make his allies better? Just tech that he absorbs into his solipsistic worldview!
Oh, no, Squirrel Girl, don't think you're Tony's friend, or that you got those new gloves because he likes you and wants to reward you. Nope, those gloves are for his hands...
Tony Stark. What a jerk.
