This deck is about punishing enemies who attack. With Armored Vest and Accelerated Reflex total DEF is 3. Add a +2 DEF or cancelling boost, and you will block all damage most of the time. On turns that you do Maximum Velocity, this can get to 7 DEF just with one defense card.

Having Unflappable down, allows card draw when this happens, Hard to Ignore allows you to pick away at the main scheme without actually actively thwarting, and Flow Like Water, Electrostatic Armor, and Preemptive Strike can really punish the villain with 2 + boost damage every attack passively over time.

Angel's Aerie allows for fast heals even if you are tapped up the round you flip to Alter Ego Form. If you get stuck not being able to ready on your second activation? On Defense, use Desperate Defense. On offense use What Doesn't Kill Me, and Always Be Running.

As far as allies go, you really do not need them, however Jocasta and Brother Voodoo can help in a pinch. Jocasta can grab an event for you out of your discard pile. You could run Maximum Velocity from this, defense cards, Always Be Running, or whatever you need, and it does not tie up your hand. Jocasta holds it for you. So it is like you have a 6 hand size.

Brother Voodoo can also grab a handy event for you.

I've been testing this deck on various Villains on Expert like Ebony Maw, and a few others, and it is in full control coasting to a win. It is quite fun to play.
