“My life is a chip in your pile. Ante up!”

Gambit is a bit of a gambler, so why not do a little bit of gambling. The best part about gambling with Gambit is stacking the deck.

Play Slots using Rock, Paper, Scissors or, better yet, War.

Place your Bet Knowing the Outcome

Fix the encounter deck by using Gambit’s Thief Extraordinaire ability by putting back a zero boost or low boost card, then you can play War knowing how much damage you might take. There are enough high cost cards to dish out some damage. Then, Healing Factor and X-Mansion can heal you back up so you can have triples from pool resources.

Fix your deck using Atlas Bear. You don’t have to use her deal a damage to draw. Just look at the card. If it costs 3 or more, use War. If it doesn’t, look at the resource type and use Rock, Paper, Scissors to draw it. This way Atlas Bear can stay out as long as possible!

Royal Flush

Because of Gambit’s high defense, you can keep the pool resources as doubles or triples. Which make for great ways to pay for a Royal Flush.

7-7-7

Maybe you’ll really hit the jackpot and be able to play Da Bomb because of how many resources you have.

When you flip to Hero, you’ll be able to draw with Moira MacTaggert, and Rock, Paper, Scissors might get you another card if you use one of the many wilds in this deck.

This deck is a lot of fun to play because it really hones in on high damage potential through stacking the encounter deck and using War to do 4-6 damage somewhat consistently.

You’ll feel like a gambler playing with a fixed deck.
