I've tried quite a bit of things and I wanted to make a deck that maximizes her ability.

Therefore: Wild Icons and appropriate distribution of resource icons of are the key!

I've settled on the following must-have wild icon cards:

These are all very important as 7 copies of wild icon cards (with Colossus included) gives you a very high chance to have a wild resource at your availibility to swap and exploit with Limbo.

The staple engine in this deck is: Limbo, Avengers Mansion & The Sorcerer Supreme. Once set up they basically give you an 8 card hand to work with.

Cards like Helicarrier, Bloodgem, Mockingbird are generally less important in this deck for their engine build-up, but more for their Icons and secondary for the versatility.

They will fuel the following control staple: Legion, Stepford Cuckoos, Wraith, Wolfsbane, Blindfold. These allow you to fully manipulate the encounter deck. From discarding an encounter card, to boost icons, to rearranging their order, and having full control over Legion's ability to control schemes a bit better.

This is the staple defence combo to remember:

  • Play Colossus.
  • have him die by defending for you (or attacking/thwarting).
  • Once he's in the discard pile, play Stepping Disc to put him back on top of your deck.
  • (Optionally:) Replay him for cheaper cost.

This is the staple Offence combo to remember:

  • (optiionally) set up Soulsword.
  • Attack with Magik.
  • Play Stepping Disc to put a Magik Card with Wild or Physical on top.
  • Play Soul Strike to do damage (and stun).
  • Attack with Magik again.

The concept of Floating:

The rest of the cards have been selected to properly distribute: 11 Physical, 11 Mental, 11 Energy, 7 Wild.

BUT keeping in mind, some card are selected to float as targets of Limbo on the Encounter Phase while others are selected for their ability to float during Your Player Phase.

For Example: Foiled! is a perfect card to float on the enemy turn because not only does it boost Magic Barrier and Mystical Armor, it also can be used as an interrupt on its own from the top of the deck.

Generally you want to play cards like Stepping Disc, Exorcism, Soul Strike from your hand, as this gives you maximum control over which effect gets triggers, so they generally aren't targets to float.

Colossus is an ideal target to float as he's also a wild, and a prime target for the cost discount. Physical icon cards tend to be a bit more expensive and are often also primary targets to float due to the cost reduction.
