Jun 24, 2023This is still work in progress but you are right. Actually the first try I managed to handle threat, ending with zero, but second try was horrible and even with all the health upgrades my HP were very low. Any ideas? I feel like adding more allies can accumulate more threat thanks to Mojo's encounter cards, staying in Hero does the same and Alter-ego is highway to hell. I just couldn't find anything worth adding. Maybe I'll just try to end him quickly and then clear as much threat as possible. Even with Assess the Situation I often feel I would rather play something to help me now then later. |
Jun 25, 2023I have been going the "end him quickly route", however, its not always a guarantee. I have had some really quick games and some really bad ones. I would say I succeed more so than I lose though. Here is the deck I have been using: marvelcdb.com |
Jun 25, 2023Professor X will help with flipping to alter-ego if you can get him out at the right time (ie. with not a lot of threat on your hero). He can confuse Mojo and knock some threat off. I have been mulliganing for lunging strike. The best game i have had so far was a starting hand with both Lunging Strike's in hand, knocking him down to his second phase in the first round. |
How did this deck do against this round? I feel like switch to alter-ego form can cause threat to get out of control quick if you’re not careful so I didn’t include any alter-ego cards like X-Mansion or Recuperation.
