This is my Venom leadership deck which started as a joke to see if I could get ALL THE VENOMS in my deck, and this is the suprisingly effective result.

Strategy

Venom (Flash Thompson) has a neat ability to generate a wild resource at the cost of one hp once per phase. Once you get your Clarity of Purpose out you can essentially do it twice per hero phase (for a total of 3 times per round). Generating two of any resource is incredibly powerful for any hero, but Venom's Hero cards have additional synergies with it allowing you to generate any required resources for secondary effects (Savage Attack, Tendrils, etc). Even better, we stack the deck with powerful and expensive allies that we can pay for at incredible discounts thanks to our Welcome Aboards and Make the Call + Power of Leaderships. We then reduce the cost of their maintenance thanks to being able to bring back defeated allies with Rapid Responses.

Allies

Maria Hill: I play a lot of multi-player. Letting 2-4 players draw a card for what is essentially pennies to us is obviously good.

Iron Heart: Maria Hill, but slightly worse

Squirrel Girl: Deals 1 damage to ALL enemies on entry. Fantastic synergy with multi gun.

Groot: I am Groot.

Vision: We generate 2 wild energy on each of our turns which means we can easily give Vision his +2 every round.

Nick: Nick can do whatever we want him to, deal damage, thwart, block for us, or draw us cards. We can even play him for as cheap as one card.

Venom (Eddie Brock): Hilariously fun and surprisingly effective. He adds an encounter card on the villain phase, but deals damage to the villain based on boost icons. At a chunky 6 hp you can attack for three, then use his ability 5 times during the encounter phase which usually averages out in the 8-9 damage, add in Rapid Responses and you can push the damage output even higher. Team Training and Symbiote Suit both also have great synergies with Venom (Eddie Brock) allowing him to do more potential damage per round.

Thoughts Just like any other Venom deck you are going to want to get your set-ups out to really be effective, especially the weapons. Once we have our weapons we can pretty much control the board until we get the rest of our upgrades and supports out.

Project Rebirth and Clarity of Purpose are core components to allowing us to freely generate all of our wild resources. Project Rebirth should be played asap and used liberally to keep us healthy.

Allies are there to further expand our options allowing us to flex into whatever role is needed at the moment. Feel free to play around with other allies to better suit the Villains you are playing, or your personal playstyle. Other considerations are Mockingbird, Major Victory, Starlord (for more Eddie Brock gambles, make your friends hate you!), Ant man, and Gamora. Honestly the options are fairly limitless when it comes to allies.

Please give my deck a go and let me know your thoughts!
