COLOSSUS

This powerhouse of a hero can take the hits and give them back 10 fold. His kit allows him to keep up his tough status, utilize it for his abilities, draw cards, and make big hits. His downside is his low thwart of 1. So lets fix that!

The key cards to this deck are:

        - Honorary X-Men

Why?
   With Jessica Jones, Colossus can have her thwart with a bonus for however many side schemes are out in play when she does so. Make her an Honarary X-Men and she can then have her consequential damage healed by Colossus when he goes into Alter Ego, allowing her to continue to thwart at a high rate. The Mutant Genesis campaign has a lot of side schemes and so this set up is a great way to off set his low thwart.
   If you do not get Jessica in your first hand, you may have One Way or Another and Chance encounter, both of which can get you her as soon as possible. Slap on that Honorary X-men and then go to town, as you go AE you can heal her with the X-mansion, and when you come back, you get your tough status replenished. AWESOME!
