My (bad) take on a more popular and more efficient build, because stopping at 40 isn't fun. This has been tested 0 times, and might not ever be. Why stop at 49 though....? Because this will bother Droodplz.
Friends!
Black Panther - Recur good things and is nice to hit of Summoning Spell.
Brother Voodoo - Good for blocking after finding you some goodies
Captain Marvel - More discard and more payoff on Summoning Spell.
Jocasta - To sit on on Shield Spell (Probably could/should be something else)
Kaluu - More digging.
Nick Fury - Because you know.
Events!
Think Fast - Confusing is so nice especially for this price.
Welcome Aboard - You are a Guardian and wanting to drop allies often.
Clobber - Fist + good chip damage and can dump to battle mage
Concussive Blow - Confusion and Stunning where possible is huge for this deck.
Deflection - Honestly not too sure on this card either, but might be nice in multiplayer in a pinch or for stopping indirect damage at a bad time (I think that works)
Drop Kick - Stunning is good, damage is good, why not.
Magic Attack - Being able to pick the number of damage, and have it go towards potential tutoring is nice. Plus we are a mystic... this HAS to be in.
Problem Solvers - This card probably isn't the play in Solo, but in Multiplayer could be great given the players at the table.
Shield Spell - This card will save your bacon and justifies Jocasta's existence currently. MYSTIC
Spiritual Meditation - Needs no explanation + MYSTIC
Summoning Spell - One of my favorite mystic cards and can create some great value in the deck. I'm sure we can make more fun choices, but it checks a lot of boxes for the plan of the deck. + MYSTIC
Tackle - Stun + Fist + Damage
Zone of Silence - Same thing as Magic Attack but for getting clues.
Mana!
The Resources - There to help us setup and cycle as fast as possible. Controversial to some, but it makes sense if you think about it.
Supports!
Avengers Mansion and Hellicarrier - Probably not necessary in this deck but they only make us better when down.
Upgrades!
Deft Focus - Makes our Cosmic and Karmic powers cheaper, and can make our setup cheaper if down early
Heroic Intuition - Hoping to make this better with Problem Solvers since Adam will probably be the only Guardian around unless the table has more options. Can also strengthen the cape.
Jarnbjorn - Seems kind of fun and makes for a more fun mental image.
Martial Prowess - Makes most of our events even better if that were possible.
Skilled Investigator - I've always had a soft spot for this card. Can replace itself with little commitment early and Adam loves drawing cards.
Target Acquired - Safety net in some tough scenarios. The Sorcerer Supreme - Step aside Steven, Wong, or whoever is in charge. We want more cards.

Mar 05, 2022Deflection - Defense and defense events can only be used in relation to attacks, which.... is limited to.... the sharks in the Collector scenario I think? Consider Black Widow in this slot? You have the same number of energy sources as you do , and this could be a cool catch-all! |

Few thoughts:
Why Jarnbjorn? Do you expect to have extra fist resources often to pay for its ability? Would another aggression weapon, such as Hand Cannon be a better fit? It makes The Power of Aggression look better, costing two, and gives your attacks overkill!
Considered dropping "Welcome Aboard" for another leadership card, either to upgrade your allies - or another ally itself? I really like the idea of Summoning up a bigger ally with a higher cost!
I'll continue to review later, got work to do - but preliminary thoughts are, this looks sweet!
