You know what I love about Skilled Strike and Mean Swing? That sweet, cheap damage. You can do up to 8 damage a turn for zero cost if you use that combo with Thor’s basic attack. Assume for a moment that you got that combo for the max amount of times in a single run through of your deck—that is 24 damage! No build-up needed…but you know what? I think we can do better than that. Let’s make it 40 damage in a single pass through of our deck. How?—>with the Assault Training support card! That’s how.

Run though most of your deck—after having played at least 4 of these 6 cards(not hard to do at all!). Then you flip down and use those Assault Training support cards to shuffle up to 4 attack cards back into your deck(2 on the turn you flipped down and then 2 more on the turn you plan to flip up). Holding off on the flip will make sure that once they are back in your deck, it should be pretty low so you can get them back ASAP. Alternatively, if your best laid plans go wrong and you HAVE to flip down sooner—cycle them back in and then use Plan of Attack to get them back ASAP.

Ultimately this is a combo with very few moving parts, which is my favorite thing about it. Just play those two Assault Training cards and you are on auto-pilot. No stress over building up your board since what you are aiming to do doesn’t cost much in way of resources.

But what if you’re stunned? I mean, it’s really tough to use Skilled Strike and Mean Swing when you’re stunned isn’t it? Not to worry. You have Godlike Stamina! Problem solved.

Naturally this strategy DOES depend on flipping down. I have included Starlord and Machine Man and 1 copy of Into The Fray to try to hold down the threat, which will allow you the luxury of a turn off the board. Worst case scenario, you can also shuffle Into The Fray back into your deck when you flip down. You’re welcome, and have fun FLIPPING OUT!
