This card has great synergy with Honed Technique. Not only does Honed Technique itself pump up all of your aggression event cards, you can get them right back with this support. One draw back to Honed Technique is that it requires you to pay for your aggression events with at least one genius resource…so this card pulls double duty by letting you pitch it in order to meet that requirement.

Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like this is under-tuned. Heroes have cards that can shuffle cards into their deck and it doesn't break the game, but this card can only be used twice for 2 ER. It's very narrow and just because you shuffle a card into your deck doesn't always mean you'll draw it in time. Let me know if you've used this and it's actually good.
I've used it and its solid in very specific circumstances. Its when an aggression event you have is an actual engine of the deck so you'd want more copies of it. For example spoiling for a fight is great for heroes that like to fish for minions and get readies. Putting an assault training in the deck essentially gives you 2 extra copies of that before your next deck pass.
