Hello, I generally play Champions at my LCG weekly (The Portal in Manchester, Ct every Sunday generally at 1pm, if you can ever make it we would enjoy playing with you!!!). Every so often my oldest (11F) will join and she wanted to play a Quicksilver deck.
After getting built up she was able to do close to 20-30 damage pretty consistently. I mentioned this online and some people said they would be interested in looking at the deck. I guess the best way to explain this deck is that you have a high level of upgrades and supports so that getting events is much more likely.
I will say that I built this deck 3 mins before we needed to leave so there are probably better cards but here was the though process:
Allies: Iron heart and Nick Fury add card draw and temp blockers, the more cards that you are able to draw the more likely you are able to get Always be running's.
Events: I added 3 copies of One by one and Precision strike because they are one cost cards and would allow you to use fluid motion to get an additional +1 Atk. Plus my wife and daughter are always concerned about their health so it does add some potential for healing without flipping down.
Resources: Energy, Genius, strength, and 2 power of aggressions. The though process here was to help pay for all the supports and upgrades more on them shortly.
Supports Avengers mansion- for card draw in an attempt to get more always be runnings Helicarrier and Quincarrier- an attempt to pay for things if you draw with an empty hand but also just have some ways to pay for other cards
Upgrades Now I'm mad- If you take alot of damage you at least are now able to hit for +1 atk. Accelerated Rush- This is actually a card I almost never use but if you trigger it when you have several Always be running it makes it worth it. Aggressive Conditioning- I mean +1 ATK and +3 Health seems like a no brainer Battle Fury- Its either another way to ready or its a card that is no longer in your deck. Combat training-Again another way to add +1 AtK. Deft Focus- Quicksilver has a ridiculous number of superpower cards (13/15). Down time- Again this was more for my daughter who constantly wants to heal and it gets another card out of the deck/discard pile Fluid Motion- As previously mentioned having one by one and precision strike would trigger the 1+ atk.
Additional cards to add We were playing a multiplayer game so another player added specialized training.
So in conclusion with reinforced sinew, Aggressive conditioning, combat training, and the upgrade from specialized training you are hitting for 5 each time, but if you discard the Adrenaline rush (x2), play and attack event to trigger fluid motion and have less than half life you are now at 9 attack, and if you just some how played Maximum velocity before you are now looking at 11 damage... per activation.
