Wide Spectrum of Allies

Carefully chosen allies help Spectrum change forms. Plays best at 2 player, is good in solo too. Not tested in 3+ player.

Gameplan:

1. Use One Way or Another to accelerate set-up (targeting Deft Focus & Energy Duplication to become resource-rich) and bring side schemes into play. Note that Crisis Icons are not as much of an issue for Photon-form Spectrum.

2. Use Chance Encounter on side schemes to find the best ally for the situation:

   a) Need a guaranteed form change this turn? Blue Marvel & Hope Summers can help there (Hope can whiff if your deck is almost empty - keep track of how many Speed of Light are in there)

   b) Need to deal with board state? Captain Britain and Spider-Man can handle minions and thwart if needed

   c) Got space to set up for later? Atlas Bear and Wolfsbane (name an event unless you're confident it could be Blue Marvel) can provide some extra card draw on turns where you're needing a form-change card

   d) Low on resources? Ironheart is a 2 cost hail mary, cross your fingers and hope to draw a Speed of Light

3. Continue to thwart as needed, using Agile Flight, Photon Speed and Lay Down the Law to clear up, and trigger Skilled Investigator for more cards

4. Finally we can push a bit of damage through Gamma Blast, Command Center and basic attacks. In the late game, with 3 resource generators and One Way or Another, you can easily afford two Gamma Blasts in a turn. Ready to Rumble also helps you get more basic activations in.

Other options:

We want to stick to 40 cards to increase our chances of drawing form-change cards. If anything could be replaced it is Command Center or Ironheart, but she is very helpful if you trigger Chance Encounter with only 2 resources left.

Avengers Mansion could be great in this deck.
