This guy is fun to play!

With his Cape and Armor, he gets to be quite versatile.

1. You'll want to switch, from time to time, to take advantage of his ability (survivor), Asteroid M and Moira MacTaggert. Won't Stay Down will help here to make switching twice more easily: once it's in play, you can play Professor X, switch to alter-ego form with the confuse on the vilain protecting your next turn. After the vilain phase is done, you discard Won't Stay Down to grab Professor X back. Having him on the board will make the vilain confused again, and you'll mostly be able to safely switch to alter-ego form again next turn.

2. With Honorary X-Men, you'll be able to use Utopia, The X-Jet and Uncanny X-Men in alter-ego form.

3. With all the allies, and Magneto's Armor / Magneto's Cape, you'll often get the chance to thwart for 5 per turn with Magneto alone.

4. New Recruits is fun with him because once you have to Cape, it'll get cleared on the turn you play it.

5. His expensive deck is compensated with 3 double resources, resource generating upgrades and supports that cuts down on cost. Once setup, you'll be able to play pretty much every card in your hand, each turn.
